⥣ Incoming Message from The Fruit And Sweets Army .  .  .  ⥥

. . .

Hey guys, Sky here! If you guys are a little confused, don’t worry. The other superiors and I have had a very long conversation (and by very long, I mean literal hours on end) about redoing the character design rules and regulations, so today I’m here with Jasper from the Sweets to update you guys on all that good stuff! Say hi, Jasper!

“Hello.. I’m sure what we have to tell you won’t be too different from what you know. So you shouldn’t have much to worry about..”

Right, yeah! And, for the newcomers out there, don’t worry about changing your characters! Just make sure you follow these things and you’re all set! Of course, though, let us know if you have any questions or anything!

Alright, so let’s get onto the content of this journal! Let’s start off with the good things, the things that you can do. Sounds good?

“I believe it does! The first things we should mention is that you’re able to choose any gender for your character. The same goes for hair and eye color as long as they remain at least a little reasonable.”

Right, yeah, and also -- here’s a new thing that you guys are allowed to do; you’re now allowed to have slight heterochromia. What I mean by that is that you can have two different colors in one eye, but the catch is that said two colors has to be close together. For example, you can have a dandelion color and a mustard color in both eyes. Something like that. A drastic color difference like one blue eye, one red eye isn’t allowed. Oh, and that applies to two of your characters, as in, two of your characters can have this type of heterochromia.

Aside from that, you can do whatever you’d like for the body build, height, weight, etc but please make sure to keep things reasonable. I mean, it’s not that hard to quickly search up what’s the range for a weight given a height. If you want to make your character underweight, please explain why! Is it because of their eating habits, or something genetic? ((Heh..In my case, I’m 5’5” and weigh 92 pounds, but that’s only because I don’t really..Feed..Or take care of myself…))

You can choose to be a HUMAN, PHYSICAL MUTANT OR AN ELEMENTAL MUTANT. For mutants, they’re either going to be low-blood, mid-blood, or high-blood. I’ll get more indepth with that later, but if you’re confused, please go and look at the entry found in the RESEARCH journal! (They’re all nicely organized now)

“In turn, you have to draw your characters in their casual and their mission gear. You can find the gear here, and while you should do your best to follow the designs, you can take freedom to make them similar or give them light accessories. On that topic, you can have accessories on your character! For both their mission and casual gear, you should try and avoid having to many on the mission gear that may cause problems during battle though.”

Yep! Thanks for that clarification with things. So basically, you’re allowed to do whatever you want when it comes to your character’s appearance. Just make sure to keep things reasonable, yeah?

Anyways, how much your character resembles a hero or villain is up to you. If you don’t want to resemble them all that much, fine, but there has to be SOME sort of shared thing with your character and the hero/villain that you picked. You can share the same name, same appearance, and MOSTLY the same abilities (they HAVE to follow along with our cannon, not the Hero/villain’s cannon), but at the same time, they should NOT be a carbon copy. So basically, think of this rule as some sort of mix-and-match; you can share the same appearance, but not the same name or personality. Alright, that’s cool. You can share personality traits and appearance, but not the same name. That’s fine. Your character has to have SOME sort of similarity besides the abilities, but other than that, do whatever man.

Speaking of heros or protagonists/villains or antagonists, you can choose any that you like from any comic, anime, and games. HOWEVER, YOU’RE STILL EXPECTED TO MAKE THE CHARACTER WITH OUR CANNON, NOT THE SOURCE’S CANNON. That means that there are going to be a lot of things -- ie traits, abilities, backstory stuff -- that you’re going to have to leave out, but hey, as stated in the above rule, so long as there’s some sort of resembles, you’re a-okay.

“Of course, you’re allowed to give your character pets. The only real rule we have with this is that you have to own the design to be able to keep it as a pet. We don’t allow closed species to be in the group at all. If you’re unsure of what you can use in the group, you should check out the natural wildlife that lives in this world!

Somewhat back to the topic of characters, you’re free to make note of what your characters blood color is. You can find out what types of blood color different species are allowed to have by looking over the research journal. Of course alongside this, you want to try and stay close to what your characters species is. An elementals goes along more with magic then as an example physical mutants who would go with extra limbs like wings or tails. </a>You can learn more about which mutants can have what in the research journal linked above!”  ((A/N: or here too in case you're lazy. It take you to the list tho so I mean))

Just a side note -- always keep in mind what type of species your character is, and what they can do. Also balance -- I can't stress this enough. Make sure everything makes sense and whatnot!

Oh, and another thing -- no guns or anything like that. There are plenty of alternatives like crossbows or darts or stuff like that, and it’ll be okay. Don’t worry about it. Heck, you can even have a staff or something that you can shoot magic from, so go nuts with that!?

One last thing for the time being -- please note somewhere what your character’s main weapon is, and to also make a mana tracking journal. With said journal you’re allowed to enchant whatever you want with whatever enchant you want, and you don’t really need to tell anyone unless you’re RPing. Anyways, is there anything else you want to add, Jasper?

*Shakes head and smiles* “No, I think that’s all we have to tell you about design rules right now! Try and make sure to follow these as closely as you can.”

Yep! Anyways, if you have any questions or concerns or anything, feel free to note one of the admins! We're here to help <3 Otherwise, that's it for the time being. Thank you, Jasper, for joining me on this! I appreciate it. But anyways, I'm Sky, and I'll see you later recruits~
